Murova is the oldest part of Jesenice, spreading on the slopes of Mirca. First information about the settlement dates back to 1469, showing that first houses in Murova were made of wood. Some of them have been preserved and Praček's house is considered to be the oldest, followed by Resman's, Pavlek's and Merkež's houses. The Church of St. Leonard is a part of Murova complex.
